My Journey from Two to Three Wheels!

Following surgery in 2016, the specialist gave me devastating news, no more riding my Harley!. Following a visit to TC Custom Trikes in Port Kennedy, and advice from Tony to convert my 2009 Ultra Classic, it was back to the specialist. What about a trike?, this was an affirmative. The freedom of the open road was to continue.

What did this mean to me?

The trike has enabled me to continue my love of riding. Within 12 months I was on the open road with my son Barney J, undertaking a trip to the Goldfields in Western Australia. In Hog talk, it was an unofficial "reverse around the block" ride.

Geraldton, Mount Magnet, Leonora, Kalgoorlie, Albany and Perth, 3,300 Kilometers, Wow!. Six weeks later, we completed a 4,300 kilometer ride in the North West of Western Australia. Wind in my face, music pumping in my ears and the open road. Yeah!. The trike has given me the necessary stability and confidence to continue the freedom to ride and enjoy the shares comeradery of HOG West Members, new and old. I have once again become an active member of the club, reactivating my Road Captains' mantle and using my membership to support the committee for the continued development of our club, HOG West.

Thank you Tony and Careena Cro from TC Custom Trikes, for getting me back on my wheels.
